6.3. Maintenance in periods of non-use or absence

SHORT PERIODS (3-5 days)

  • Adjust the pH and treat the water (see Water Maintenance section).
  • Cover the spa.
  • Before using the Spa again, readjust the pH and treat the water again.

PROLONGED PERIODS (5-14 days)

  • Set the temperature at its lowest level.
  • Adjust the pH and treat the water (see Water Maintenance section).
  • Cover the Spa.
  • Before using the Spa again, reset the temperature as required , readjust the pH and treat the water again.

PREPARTING FOR THE WINTER PERIOD

If it is not planned to use the Spa through the winter season or for prolonged periods of time, the following operations should be done:

  • Disconnect the electrical equipment.
  • Empty the water from the Spa.
  • Leave the drain valve open.
  • Clean and dry the Spa.
  • Cover the Spa.

You should not leave water in the Spa without an electrical connection outdoors in temperatures below 0ÂșC, given that the pipes could freeze and damage the Spa.

It is necessary to comply withRegulations in force in each country regarding Legionella. All responsibility for compliance with these falls on the owner of the Spa.
